iThenticate is a plagiarism prevention tool from the same company that provides Turnitin. Its intended use is for professional academic researchers and publishers. It will generate originality reports by comparing submitted work to previously published work. These reports will help give authors and editors the power to eliminate unintended plagiarism and improve citation practices. iThenticate has access to over 100 million scholarly books, articles, and conference proceedings as well as periodicals, encyclopedias, abstracts, and over 50 billion current and archived web pages.
