SynchronEyes Resources

SynchronEyes is computer-lab instruction software from SMART, the makers of SMART Boards.

SynchronEyes gives instructors the ability to:

  • Monitor and control student computers
  • Broadcast instructor desktop or student desktop to others in the room
  • Communicate with individual students, groups of students, or all students in the class
  • Create, administer, and score quizzes with the SynchronEyes Quiz Wizard.

There are currently two versions of SynchronEyes available on campus:

NOTES: 

  • Help Documentation for versions 6 and 7 includes help for some features of Synchroneyes that may not be available to users on campus due to the software configurations made when the software packages were installed.

  • Customizing preferences in SynchronEyes (e.g. setting quiz preferences) can only be done if you have administrative privileges on a machine. Contact the Help Desk for assistance in changing preferences in SynchronEyes.
