The Blackboard Seminar Series is a joint effort between Educational Technology and the Center for Educational Research and Teaching Innovation (CERTI) to help faculty develop more effective teaching strategies for using Blackboard in the classroom.

Most sessions are led by faculty who are interested in sharing their experiences with implementing a key feature of Blackboard within their own teaching environments. Other sessions are led by EdTech or CERTI representatives to introduce new technologies and new capabilities released in updated versions of Blackboard. For instance, the new Grade Center in Blackboard 8.0 is a very different tool than the old Grade Book from earlier versions of Blackboard.
