Some technology-enhanced classrooms are equipped with a document
camera, similar to an overhead projector, in order to view printed documents or
other items.
Turning on and using the document camera will depend on which type
display-switching device has been installed in the room: AMX or EZtrol.
AMX-Panel:
- Turn on the document camera. The main power switch is located near
one of the back corners of the display surface. It takes a few
seconds for the light to come on.
- Turn on the AMX Remote Control.
- Touch Select Device (if not already on the device selection
screen).
- Touch DOC CAM option on the AMX Remote Control.
- Touch POWER to choose which projector(s) to use for displaying the
document camera output.
- Use the controls on the document camera to zoom in/out of documents and
objects.
- When finished, turn off the document camera.
